Colours and Their targets

Different communication levels can be illustrated through colours and energy levels:

  • Green  – Harmony, flow, and balance. Energy follows calm, trust, and maturity.
Brown (15–22 points). – Practical hands on. – Communication is fact-based.- Create creatively weathering culture.
Blue (23–30 points) – Task-oriented and analytical. Communication is clear and structured. – Use creatively known culture.
Red (30–36 points) – Delegated and emotionally driven. Communication is engaging and interactive. – Create creatively new and unknown culture.
Yellow (37–45 points). – Visionary and innovativ. –  Communication is inspiring, open and future-oriented. – Discover creatively “hidden” culture.

A value-creating organization differs from a goal-driven organization mainly by expanding the creative space — moving beyond a single office or production site to a digital “intranet” workspace where the whole world becomes a potential arena for collaboration.

In practice, this means that boundaries dissolve.
A modern company often acts as a coordinator of services within a value-creation chain that is neither locally fixed nor organisationally limited.
Instead, it consists of independent experts, AI-partners and process owners, each contributing their part of the total value.
This kind of value creation can appear chaotic — full of contracts, agreements, and quality systems — much like a construction site where different craftsmen from various firms come and go.
The key to success is common goals and common values, led by a dedicated unifying project leader or supervisor.

Communication Levels and Value Creation

From a leadership perspective, the “task at hand” determines the communication level and the kind of leadership required.
  • The more complex and creative the challenge, the higher the communication competence needed.
  • In the SGL concept, this is reflected in the Communication Ladder and
The –Triple -Test, which help leaders identify and balance their team’s communication dynamics.

Our experience shows that an organization’s communication culture
strongly influences both creativity and value creation.
