SGL is a brilliant tool to get to know your team and understand they behaviour. SGL is an investment in the true values, people, and this investment will give more back than anything else.
Being personal and private with your teammates is a challenge for most people. The SGL-groups learn to respond to what they hear. Carefully. Active listening. And gently they say “I have a fantasy of what I hear”. If they manage it is the first step for a winning team. So the key words for this exercise is as SGL brilliantly has stated: Can you accept that you are accepted as you are? In order to be WHO you are?
SGL has provided me with practical tools for bringing teamwork to a really high level. This has been my experience for many years now. For this I am ever thankful!
Before coming to SGL, I had participated in two different American intensive one-week programmed management training courses. My experience with SGL was very different, and directly relatable to working group dynamics, communication, and balancing group participants for optimum performance in the specific requirements of the tasks at hand. I recommend SGL concepts for development in every type of organization.
Very long experiences ( in various large companies ) with SGL tools in cooperation with Jan P Hagberg; my mentor. The tools have been very useful in my HR leader career in both private and public sector.
My experience with SGL stems from a start up process at the Norwegian Tax Administration in the period 2004 – 2005. Jan P Hagberg introduced the SGL-method to the team, which was responsible for development and introduction a new solution for tax collection. In the period from 2007 to 2008 the new solution replaced old legacy systems nationwide. The solution, named SOFIE, has since then successfully been handling taxes collected from all persons and companies in Norway.
Jan P. as SGL-coach facilitated numerous discussions on Prediktor`s organisation and vision and mission, and had a lots of talks with most people using SGL´s Flow-zone diagram in different teams. For nearly 10 years SGL was a very positive factor for development of the persons and company. – In my opinion Jan Petrus made a significant and good contribution to shaping Prediktor into a better company.
I approached SGL to find my “hidden creativity” and to help publish SGL secrets. – Along the way I learned how to survive and cope with difficult situations in my life. From my experiences I recommend SGL Tools and insights.
I use SGL with Jan Petrus as mentor in my artistic work as a musician, conductor, and as a principal and leader in both public and private sector.
