SGL – Privacy

Your answers stay with you.

SGL-Secrets has no login, no tracking and no advertising. What you write in the lessons is saved in your own browser, on your own device, and nowhere else. This page explains exactly what that means.

In your browser

What is saved, and where

To remember your progress, the site uses your browser’s local storage. It works like a small notebook that stays on your device. We cannot read it, and it is not sent to us or to anyone else. It is not a cookie, and it is not shared between your devices. The same goes for the SGL Chatbot: it is not an AI, it answers from the texts on this site, and what you type in it is not sent or saved anywhere.

Lessons you have read

The “I have read lesson X” ticks, used for the progress bars on the Secrets, in the footer and on your progress page.

Your answers

What you write or choose in the 28 tasks in the lessons, and in the Start-Up 1–3 quizzes.

Home lessons done

The ticks on the home lessons and on the All home lessons page.

Small settings

Your preferred video language and the filter you last used on the home lessons page.

Because it lives in your browser, it disappears if you clear your browser data, use a private window, or switch to another device. To keep it or move it, use your progress page: save the report as a PDF, or export your answers as a file and import them somewhere else.

Other services

What other services can see

A few things on the pages are loaded from other companies. When your browser fetches them, that company sees your IP address and browser, as with any website.

  • Google Fonts. The typefaces are loaded from Google’s font service.
  • YouTube. Video preview images are loaded from YouTube. The video player itself only loads when you press play, and then it uses YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com).
  • The SGL Coach app. “Open the JP agent” opens app.sglcoach.app in a new window. That is a separate service with its own terms. Nothing from this site is passed on, other than which exercise you came from.
  • Links to other sites. Books, tests and partners we link to have their own privacy rules.

Delete everything, any time

You can remove everything SGL-Secrets has saved in this browser with the button below. Your progress, answers and ticks will be gone, so export them first if you want to keep them.

If you write to us

If you email us, we use your name, address and message only to answer you. We do not add you to any list, and we do not share your letter with anyone.
